Uley Bitter
This is the beer that built the brewery. Chas dreamed of brewing one perfect bitter, and this beer made that dream real. Brewed for more than four decades, it remains our best-loved pint. Traditional English hops bring gentle fruit notes, while carefully chosen malts give it the clean, dry bitterness that defines the style. Balanced, uncomplicated and unmistakably Uley.

Pigs Ear
A pale ale from another era. Built on a robust pale malt backbone that brings soft notes of almond and biscuit, balanced by heritage English hops that give a smooth, mellow finish. First brewed in the early nineties, it now stands out as a rare example of a traditional, malt-led pale ale in a modern, hop-heavy world.

Old Spot
Old Spot is a proper ruby ale, brewed from a recipe loved for more than four decades. Named after the Gloucestershire Old Spot on our logo, it has deep crystal-malt richness, fruitcake warmth and a soft chocolate note that lingers at the finish. A generous, comforting pint made for colder days and festive nights.

Lush Beers
Uley Pale
A pale ale shaped by five hops from Slovenia, the UK and the US, which come together to create a beer that’s light, full-flavoured and effortlessly drinkable. First brewed in 2020 during lockdown, it marked Uley’s first adventure with non‑English hops. Instead of bold citrus or tropical notes, expect subtle vanilla, light florals, and a smooth, rounded finish. At 3.8%, it’s full-bodied yet delicate, offering depth without weight. Endlessly pintable.

Uley Gold
A meeting of tradition and modern hop character. Once brewed with Olicana, now reimagined with the emerging Emperor hop, it’s a beer that bridges old and new. It begins with lush mango and soft tropical fruit, moves into a whisper of spice, and resolves with a calm, rounded pale malt finish. A contemporary pale ale built the Uley way — fresh, expressive and effortlessly drinkable.

Uley Taverner
At 4.5%, Taverner combines rich malt depth with lively, fruity hop notes. Smooth, full-bodied and quietly satisfying, it remains our head brewer’s favourite winter pint, brewed for sharing in good company down at the pub.

Looking After Our Beer
FRESH BEER IS BEST!
Our beer is fresh from the barrel and exactly the same as you would drink in the pub. Please note that once opened, you must drink up! It’s available in the following sizes.
1L bottles – up to 2 weeks unopened and then best drunk
5L minipins – 3 – 4 weeks unopened and 5 – 7 days once open
10L & 20L – 7 -14 days from purchase.
The 5L mini cans are small tins and our 10L and 20L sizes are both bag in a box. All our packaging is fully recyclable. Unfortunately, you cannot return empty containers to the brewery.
Our beer is packaged when bright, meaning it is ready to drink from the moment of collection. We check the quality of our beers every day before dispensing it into packaging.
In an ideal world all our beer would be kept at 11-13 degrees. However, anywhere between 4-13 degrees will help the beer maintain its shelf life.
Unopened the beer will last 2 weeks when kept at the right temperature. Once opened we recommend you drink it within 3-4 days and to close the top vent when not in use.
At cooler temperatures you may get a chill haze but the beer will still taste great. Any hotter than 13 degrees and you will drastically reduce the shelf life on your beautiful beer.l
